At one point she mentions “Nausea” by Jean Paul Sartre. I think she’s an existentialist! Run to the philosophy section of your library. While pondering the idea of yet another black turtleneck, thumb through Simone de Beauvoir’s autobiographies, from “Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter” to “All Said and Done.” Feel dizzy just thinking the amount of work she was able to accomplish in her lifetime.
